Paula Wynter educational psychologist

Paula Wynter provides: High Calibre psycho-educational assessments, low-level mental health support, school, and workplace consultation service for  Children and young people (CYP) and adults. These services are for those who present with a wide range of developmental, learning, attention, behavioural and /or social- emotional needs.

Paula Wynter is extremely passionate and committed to her profession and clients. She provides a compassionate and gentle approach. Her expertise includes working with neuro-diverse populations including individuals with autism spectrum disorder learning disabilities, giftedness, ADHD, developmental disabilities, trauma, anxiety, depression, and behavioural challenges. Her experiences include providing a service for clients with an acquired brain injury,  cognitive decline and assessing  CYP / adults in a range of contexts such as in  psychiatric wards, hospital schools, adults in the workplace and individuals known to the youth offending team  (YOT) and those in adult prisons.

Beyond seeing her clients in her private clinic, Paula Wynter provides psychological assessments, as well as direct and consultative psychological services to schools.

She is also the director of London Psychology Consultants, a child and educational psychology practice specialising in SEND tribunals. (www.londonpsychologyconsultants).

She has worked in the field of educational psychology for over 20 years. Her qualifications include a BSC (Hons) degree in Psychology and Education in 1991 from Surrey University, PGCE in 1995 from University of London and an MSc in Educational Psychology in 1999 from University College London. Paula Wynter has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and adults with a diverse range of special educational needs both within local authorities across Greater London and within private practice.  She has sat on panels as an SEN expert,  provided expert witness reports for Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) Tribunals and  in-family law cases since 2005.

Paula Wynter works in accordance with HCPC, BPS ethical framework, conduct of practice and clinical governance procedures. She has an Enhanced CRB Certificate and is covered by professional indemnity insurance. She is  also registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) for data protection.
