Our services
At HEPP, we use a range of psychological assessments, approaches and tools to help us to understand any learning, behaviour or social and emotional needs that you or your child may have, which are presenting as a barrier to learning and progress.
The assessment can take up to two hours, dependent on the age and needs of our clients. Learning breaks are provided for children and adults who require them.
Consultations
As part of our paid services, we offer a one-off consultation offered to parents and individuals seeking general advice about their difficulties or the difficulties of their child. Advice is provided and recommendations given and/or services signposted to if required. This service is offered over video technology.

More On Psycho-Educational Assessments
HEPP offers psycho-educational assessments across the generations, working with new-born babies to the elderly. The majority of our clients are school-aged children and young adults who may be experiencing challenges with their learning due to undiagnosed learning disabilities, attention difficulties, giftedness, and/or social-emotional issues. Early years’ assessments use a ‘‘whole child’ developmental framework, alongside assessment of key learning areas.
Our goal with these assessments is to understand an individual’s unique profile of strengths and challenges, as well as to provide strategies and recommendations for support- in order to improve confidence in learning and academic achievement.

“My son who is now 11 years old has a diagnosis for Dyslexia, ADHD/ADD and Dyscalculia. He also has an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). Our EP Paula assessed my son at school and followed up with a thorough parent call to update. In addition to Paula’s wealth of qualifications, experience and professionalism she also has a wonderful way with people. We are incredibly grateful for all of Paula’s hard work and we would highly recommend her to anybody. My son’s educational future in a suitable setting is now protected, he is happy and thriving!!
